4.3. Our Products are bespoke. Since our worktops are bespoke to order Products and some Products use natural materials the images of worktops and sinks are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the components, colour and texture of materials accurately, we cannot guarantee that such images fully reflect the colour or texture or appearance of the finished worktop. Your worktop may vary slightly from those images. In addition, there may be small differences in any sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our website or stated in your order, to those finished products.
4.4. Ordering samples: Variations in colour may be an inherent natural characteristic of the Products that we sell and therefore no guarantee can be given that the colour will not vary from the colour of any samples, nor that your worktop will be free from natural marking or veining. The sample represents a small part of an original slab. It gives indication of the colour and structure as the visual perception may change when the piece is full size.
4.5. Delivery and installation service: Our standard order includes a template, delivery and installation service which will be included in the price quoted. 4.7. Validity of the Quotation. All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Material
5.1. Quartz and Granite Worktops
5.1.1 The composition of Quartz and Granite natural based products means that the variances can occur in colour, tonality and particle structure. The performance of the worktops are not in any way diminished because of these variances and therefore any worksurfaces that vary in any aspect to either a sample seen or within the same order will not be deemed to be defective.
5.1.2. Due to the composition of the Quartz materials some of the products offered may exhibit small clusters of dark spots creating a patchy appearance which is not considered a fault or does it affect the durability of the worktop.
5.2. Acrylic Solid Surface Worktops
5.2.1. Acrylic Solid Surface joins will feel seamless and will appear inconspicuous. However certain colours such as Directional colours and Veined colours may not match up perfectly so the joins may be more visible. (Directional and Veined colours will be specified if you request a price in these colours)
5.2.2. Square Upstands: if upstands are required these can only be manufactured in straight lines, therefore if they are fixed to a back wall that is not straight and true gaps will be evident in place which should be filled using decorators caulk. Square upstands will always show a seam line as they are 2 separate pieces.
5.2.3 Coved Upstands: these are fabricated in the factory and are fitted to the back of the worktops in the factory and will be fitted so that they run in a straight line. There may be gaps at the back of the upstands which will require filling with decorators caulk. If the walls are not square and are out in sections, the Templater may advise to use Square upstands as these can be run point to point and will work better in certain areas. The size of the gap will be dependent how true the walls are compared to the upstands. Coved upstands may also show bruising or a slight difference in colour at the base of the upstands due to the fabrication process, especially on the colours that have larger granules or strong patterns.
5.2.4. Thermal insulation tape is included around hob cut outs as standard to prevent heat conduction through surfaces.
- Template of your worktop
6.1. Booking your template date: Once you are happy with the quotation we have sent you and a template date has been agreed; to proceed with the order a 25% deposit is required via bank transfer or card payment which will secure your templating slot and any materials or sinks will be reserved/ordered. A fee of £150 will be charged if you cancel your order within 48 hours of the template appointment. Template date postponements prior to the template date are not chargeable.
6.3. What is required for a successful template: You or a designated representative must be on site to confirm your worktop details e.g. thickness, colour, edge detail etc. All base units are to be fixed in their final position and level(or any structure/frame in place and fixed that will be supporting the worktop if this is not for a kitchen), all unsupported areas must be suitably support with battens where units are not present e.g. behind free standing appliances. End panels must be in place and fixed, anything that requires a cut out must be onsite, any existing worktops must be removed, all sinks, taps and hobs are to be disconnected and removed with existing worktops. 6.4. After the Template: Following the template, we will advise any changes/additions and the final price. (99% of the time the final price is the same as the quoted price as we quote on slabs/sheets of material not per metre). If you are happy to proceed with your order and for your worktop to be put into production, you will be required to make the payment of the remaining balance of your order. If you do not wish to proceed with your order after template, we will cancel your order however your deposit will not be refundable.

We may not be able to achieve the 7-10 working days if; the customer has changed the colour and sizes on template from the quotation, if any materials and sinks are out of stock from suppliers, issue or faults with materials supplied by suppliers, if changes are made after the template is complete and production has to be paused, if there is severe weather/regional lockdowns or other circumstances out of our control. Please note – we only measure for and install the new worktops, we do not carry out any disconnection or re-connection of appliances or plumbing works, these are usually carried out by other tradesman during your kitchen installation/works.
